The Story
Govardhan Puja, celebrated the day after Diwali, recalls Lord Krishna lifting the Govardhan hill on his little finger to shelter the people of Vrindavan from torrential rains sent by Indra. Devotees prepare a mountain of food (Annakut) as an offering.
