The Story
Guru Nanak Jayanti, also called Gurpurab, celebrates the birth of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism and the first of the ten Sikh Gurus. Gurudwaras glow with lights, and devotees hold processions, kirtan and langar in his honour.
